May Challenge 2013


 



Every month we will be posting a challenge on our Facebook, Blog, in our newsletter etc. The Challenge will be the same, you can just access it from all outlets! The challenge will be both a product and sketch challenge. We will provide you with a sketch and a line that your layout (or project) must be completed from. The layout must be 80% of that product line, so yes, you can add more of your own embellishments and touches! Every month our design team will provide you with samples and ideas to get those creative juices going. (They WILL NOT actually be in the challenge) With that said the challenge and prizes are available to ANYONE except store employees and immediate families of store employees! Yes, that means you can even be from out of town!

All you have to do is complete the challenge and turn it in to us by the deadline and we will announce the winners!

Our winners are picked by a blind panel of judges that consist of Manufacturers, Designers, and Reps!

***Note that our Challenge themes are always a month behind.
We intend that for you to finish your project from start to finish.

Well another major life high point is officially arrived.  My beautiful granddaughter; Veronica (named after her Grandpa- Ronnie) Aurora (For the Princess She is) Faith (Because with “Faith” All things are possible) Riley arrived at 8:21 am on Tuesday April 30th! Weighing in at 6lbs 7oz!
She and Krista are doing well.  Aedan is a wonderful big brother, he just LOVES his baby sister. All he wanted to do was watch her and talk/sing to her!
Oh how sweet to have a baby girl!  So many ruffles and bows around I don’t even know what to say!  I want to take this time to officially THANK everyone who sent gifts & well wishes, whether at the Baby Shower, Hospital or Long Distance.  The outpour of love has been overwhelming.  As most of you know towards the end of Krista’s pregnancy we had to “slow” her down a little bit to help fatten up Veronica. 
The weather here in Roswell has been strange as we all know, one week we were in the upper 80’s than the very next week we were under a freeze warning, go figure.  But regardless of the crazy weather I think it is officially starting to warm up.  Yeah!  I am so excited for it to be warm enough to take Aedan swimming in my pool.  I think he is part fish, he absolutely loves the water, I think he would be in my pool 24/7 if I allowed it.  He has been enjoying playing outside, climbing his jungle gym, playing ball, riding his trikes.  I love the pictures of him just being a little boy. 

So, what do you love taking pictures of?  
We would love to hear it, and better yet we would LOVE for you to send us pictures. 
Now thru the end of June you can submit your FAVORITE pictures that you have taken with a brief description, and the First week of July we will be announcing all the winners on our Face book Page.  There is NO cost, and we are giving away some fun FREE goodies.  So get out those cameras and start shooting your favorite things and get them submitted.  (Anyone can participate, even long distance).

I would also like to with both my “babies” a Happy Birthday.
I LOVE BIRTHDAY’S, or any reason to eat cake!  
Jared will be 25 years old on the 21st
and Krista will be 28 years old on the 30th.

May! WOW! Where has 2013 gone?
May is always a favorite month of mine...
The Spring/ Summer weather, National Scrapbook Day,
Mother's Day, my birthday...
and now having Veronica it is better!

WOW how different it is having a little girl!
Bows, dresses, frills, ruffles, it is just SO different than a boy!
We could not be more excited about being parents again.
Veronica is just absolutely PERFECT!
And Aedan is such a great big brother!
My 2 angels could not make me happier and
Bobby is enjoying every minute of it
(since he was deployed when Aedan was born,
he wasn't able to be there for a lot of the "Newborn" stuff!

Veronica will be making her "Debut" at
National Scrapbook Day with Bo Bunny
on Saturday, May 4th.
We are excited to have such an amazing manufacturer
joining us for an AWESOME event!
