It’s officially SUMMER! So what are your plans for this summer? Got a big vacation coming up? Or are you just getting back from one? Maybe it’s just hanging around your own neighborhood and enjoying time at the Parks, Pools, Museums, or even just in your own back yard! Have you picked up a new pair of flip flops, some sun screen, and an extra memory card for your camera for all those summer time memories? Whatever your plans, you can count on the IT girls to help you get your happy summer memories preserved in a fun, creative scrapbook.
There is so much going on during the Summer and our store is NO exception. There is the UFO Festival coming up July 05th thru the 07th and we will be having our annual sidewalk sale during this event. As a reminder we will be closed July 04th in honor of Independence Day so that our staff can enjoy the holiday and festivities with their families.
If you’re coming to Roswell for the UFO festivities don’t forget…. Everyone dresses up in the most outrageous costumes. I love seeing people’s crazy attire. From the green wigs and boas to the metallic paints and even shimmering pants! And then of course there are the crazy glasses and hats, even the pets get dressed up for the event. It will be to say the least a SEA OF GREEN!
Of course we have classes and events all summer long at the store- including Kid Klasses EVERY Wednesday. This is a fun filled event for kids of all ages, to experiment and explore their creative side.
New inventory will soon be arriving from CHA Summer and we are so excited to be seeing “Sneak Peaks” from the manufactures. Keep your eyes open for the new arrivals.
If you haven’t heard…. Guess who’s moved back to Roswell and working back with us? Mary! OMG we have missed her so much and are so glad to have her back. So make sure to stop by and say hi.
There is so much to do during the summer, besides just travel. It is the perfect time to catch up on that book you have wanted to read, or see a movie, make some fun arts & crafts with the kids. Whatever you do this summer make sure to take lots of photos.

Every month we will be posting a challenge on our Facebook, Blog, in our newsletter etc. The Challenge will be the same, you can just access it from all outlets! The challenge will be both a product and sketch challenge. We will provide you with a sketch and a line that your layout (or project) must be completed from. The layout must be 80% of that product line, so yes, you can add more of your own embellishments and touches! Every month our design team will provide you with samples and ideas to get those creative juices going. (They WILL NOT actually be in the challenge) With that said the challenge and prizes are available to ANYONE except store employees and immediate families of store employees! Yes, that means you can even be from out of town!
All you have to do is complete the challenge and turn it in to us by
the deadline and we will announce the winners!
***Note that our Challenge themes are always a month behind.
We intend that for you to finish your project from start to finish.
Our winners are picked by a blind panel of judges that consist of
Manufacturers, Designers, and Reps!

80% of product used must be from the chosen items.
Due: July 25th (Thursday)
