October Challenge
Every month we will be posting a challenge on our Facebook, Blog, in our newsletter etc. The Challenge will be the same, you can just access it from all outlets! The challenge will be both a product and sketch challenge. We will provide you with a sketch and a line that your layout (or project) must be completed from. The layout must be 80% of that product line, so yes, you can add more of your own embellishments and touches! Every month our design team will provide you with samples and ideas to get those creative juices going. (They WILL NOT actually be in the challenge) With that said the challenge and prizes are available to ANYONE except store employees and immediate families of store employees!

Lance Anderson Class Descriptions
Join us for 2 FUN FILLED days of Classes with the One AND Only Lance Anderson!!!
We will be offering 4 amazing classes over these 2 days. (All classes are mini albums and you will leave with a completed project!)
Saturday Classes -
Way Cool - 2pm
Build a large 6x12 chipboard album. Learn new techniques to cover chipboard and use embellishments like never before. We will cover chipboard pieces with paper and learn tips to not lose the excess paper but make it really cool. Add hidden pockets, scalloped pockets, pointy pockets and make clear pockets with acrylic that will blow your mind. Use file folders in new ways and create an album that is just begging to have you add your own color and flair. All of this adds up to a Way Cool album. (Note: the album will be black and white only when we finish)
Rustic Journey - 6pm
This is a technique Savvy Class great for a Scrapper and Card maker alike and fun for both the advanced or beginner.
Build a pocketed accordion album from Scratch. Then make 9 tags to tell your story. I teach some of the famous techniques such as “Smash and glue” or the “Fold glue and smash”. OK, I have made these names up but they are great techniques for making an album or a card. With the Tags you will learn new ways to use tags (tags on a tags), pockets and a slide though. We use Burlap, staples, brads, charms, sticks, chipboard, beads and ribbons, yarn and string.
Sunday Classes -
Treasure of the Heart - 9am
Find your “Treasure of the Heart”... In this trendy pink and chocolate brown album loaded with pockets, hearts and tags. Shabby sheik unique pages are filled with punched out hearts, adorned half pages, tags, ribbons and words of love! Creative fun album dedicated to the ones you love! 5X7 mini album. I have also added beeswax to this class to make it even more rustic and just awesome.
Inner Circle - 12:30 pm
You may have seen fabulous 8x8 chipboard circle albums, but you’ve never seen one dressed up quite like this! Join us for INNER CIRCLE and create a one-of-a-kind round album using gorgeous papers from the new Guinevere collection. The rich colors and sophisticated designs make this collection striking in its versatility. Decorate the album with pictures of any subject – we won’t box you in! (Pun intended) The artsy styling and flourishes lend it well to adult subjects (ro- mance, friendship, Mother’s Day) but can also be used for a child. This uniquely-shaped album will become even more unique with a clever binding technique and three interactive slide-out pages. Plus, with the detailed handout and extra templates, it will be a piece of cake for you to create future Inner Circle albums in a variety of colors and themes. Join the Inner Circle – you’ll get somewhere by going round and round!
